The BXW-163 Amatsukaze is the main weapon for Berserker unit 06. A laser sharp, straight katana style sword capable of cutting through a vast array of objects, especially so when combined with a Berserker's strength. The bladed edge itself is made from grade 2 solid Kelvian. Kelvian by nature is an electricity amplifier. When as a solid and introduced with an electric current, the Kelvian has a chemical reaction that, upon contact with other objects, causes their atomic structure to break down instantaneously, giving the sword an ability to cut through virtually anything. This technology has been nicknamed K.I.B.S. or Kelvian Ignition Blade System. The downside to this system is the amount of electricity required to power it. Amatsukaze is the first weapon to utilize a magazine style K.I.B.S. method, similar to handguns or rifles. When this special magazine is loaded into Amatsukaze, it can generate enough power to keep the K.I.B.S. ignited for 28 straight minutes, this is over 7x the time limit from other various magazine styled Kelvian weapons.
